| A pair of exquisite blown glass candle shades covered with beautiful diamond point engraved flowers. The bottoms of the shades have brass collars that fit down into the candlesticks. The shades are in fine condition. This sale is for the shades, but they come with the Russian brass candlesticks which are not an exact match. There have different Russian marks on the bottoms, one bearing a date of 1833. The base of one shows more copper than the other after it's first polished. Each have springs inside that push the candles up as they burn down. The sticks and bases have dents and neither are quite perpendicular to the bases. They stand 20 3/8" to the top of the shades and measure 4 3/4" across the base. | ||
