A fine Georgian butler's tray made of highly figured mahogany with lovely curves on top of the sides. It's 25 1/8" wide and 17 1/8" deep. The two book-matched pieces that make up the bottom of the tray have become separated during its long life(see photos).

It's hard to find this many matching ones! This is for a set of eight, two of which are pictured here. The green bowls and feet have a quilted pattern and are sprinkled profusely with gold dust. The hollow stems are purple and flecked like confetti with blue which gives them a very festive look. They measure 8 to 8 1/4 inches high and are 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the foot and rim.
